About

An Indiana company for leaders under pressure.

Public safety is not a game. Preparation can be practiced like one.

Crisis Response Leader Training (CRLT), Inc. equips emergency and crisis-response leaders with tools for working under pressure. The company describes itself as an Indiana small business that joins simulation technology to practical use: hyper-realistic software for people who have to decide.

The training focus is consequence management — reducing the harm a crisis does to a community, while improving decisions and coordination. CRLT presents the platform as a way to hold planning, execution, and assessment in one place.

The intended feel is a modern simulation with the strategic depth of a tabletop exercise, for emergency managers, incident commanders, executives, and frontline personnel. CRLT says the product is built on a leading video-game engine and grounded in real-world case studies.

The company says it works with a university partner on technology so the product keeps improving, and that the mission is cost-effective training that organizations can run without a hard limit on repetitions. CRLT is based in Lafayette, Indiana, near Purdue University.

CRLT describes the company as the nation’s premier emergency management simulation and consulting firm.
